This is one of the latest Henry Hoover vacuum models, perhaps targeting smaller homes.

Even though the 6-litre dust bag capacity is much lesser than the usual Henry Hoover model, it is still massive compared to other brands.

We liked how this Henry Hoover vacuum wasn’t as hard to carry as other models as it is a little lighter.

At 7.5 kilograms, however, it isn’t really a lightweight.

Other key features of a Henry Hoover is retained, however, with a 10-metre long cable, energy-efficient motor and TriTex filters.

Compared to other Henry Hoover’s this is a cheaper option as well!

Best Henry Hoover Premium Vacuum: Numatic Hetty Hoover HET200

Hetty is short for Henrietta.

In every way, this vacuum is like a sister vacuum to the Henry HVR200 - other than the colour scheme of course!

The vacuum comes with a huge 9-litre dust bag!

There is a TriTex filter in place which has three layers of filtration to capture dust.

The HepaFlo bags are also great at keeping your dust inside without escaping anywhere.

Much like its sibling, the Hetty Hoover is a powerful vacuum with great suction.

The conical shape of its hose improves airflow, while the vacuum head is great at sucking up everything in its path.

Like all Henry Hoover vacuums, this is also an energy-efficient machine.

One great feature of the Hetty is that two hoses come with the vacuum, with the longer hose making stair cleaning extremely easy.

Given the heavyweight stature of this vacuum, it is certainly a welcome feature!

Best Henry Hoover Cheap Vacuum: Numatic James Hoover JVP180

The James Hoover is the frugal member of the Henry Hoover family.

If you were on the lookout for an affordable Henry Hoover vacuum, this is the vacuum you need.

With an 8-litre dust capacity, this vacuum can get a lot of cleaning done before you need to dump the bag.

When it comes to the bags that are inside the vacuum, we were impressed with how effective the HepaFlo bags were in capturing dust.

For the lower price, however, you are sacrificing some standard features found on most other Henry Hoover vacuums.

The first of those is the lack of an automatically rewinding cable.

We were also disappointed that the TriTex filtration system, which is Henry Hoover three-layered patented filter, is absent.

Because of this reason this vacuum really isn’t suited for homes with people that have severe dust allergies.

When it comes to cleaning though, the only trouble we had with this little monster is that it literally sucked up everything in its path!

With a long 10-metre cord as well, we could comfortably cover a lot of ground before having to change power outlets.

We did have a little difficulty cleaning around the edges of the walls without removing the vacuum head.

We also found that this vacuum did not perform too well against pet hair, which was disappointing but is expected for the lower price.

From the wear and tear in our testing, we estimate that you may have to replace your bags only once every two months or so.

Besides regular dry cleaning, this vacuum can take care of the post-plumbing spill. 

Compared to wet and dry vacuums within the same price range, Charles offers many functionalities, including standard features like HepaFlo bags for trapping dust.  

The floor design puts a damper on this vacuum’s suction power, making edge cleaning so-so at best.

A 10-metre cord allows wet and dry cleaning that covers more without switching power outlets too often, but Charles is a hefty 8.5kg. 

This wet and dry vacuum comes with a TriTex filtration system for dry vacuuming and a float valve for wet vacuuming. Manual switching between these two systems can be a bummer for quick cleaning tasks. 

Unfortunately, this vacuum didn't perform well when picking up pet hair.

The wheels leave much to be desired. It doesn’t turn 360 degrees and, sometimes, gets stuck on thicker carpets. 

While its suction power and 10-metre cord can help make the vacuum cleaning more manageable, the bulk and 8kg weight can be a strain. Bringing it upstairs can be a struggle.

The floorheads are a compromise for the lower price, considering how they're not motorised as most standard vacuums are. 

We didn't find any problem using it on laminate flooring but using Henry Allergy on stairs could be better. It's wide, so placing it on the steps requires some leg wedging, which is different from how you usually want to vacuum. 

The suction is as strong as you could expect for any Henry Hoover vacuum, but the nozzle is the real hero, reaching far corners and crevices without any problem. 

The three layers of the HEPA filter ensure efficient control of dust mites, allergens, and pollen. 

This vacuum is ideal for carpets, timber, vinyl, tiles, and hardwood floors.
